**Please contact us 1-2 weeks before your stay for
updates on road conditions**
From Northern Utah:
Drive
south on I-15, take SR20 to Hwy 89. Turn right and follow 89 through Panguitch
to Tod’s Junction on Right (approx. 37 miles on 89). Turn right on Hwy 14 and
drive approximately 3 miles to Stout Canyon sign. Turn left onto a
well-traveled dirt road which will lead you up into the trees where the road
forks. There will be another sign indicating Stout Canyon and Harris Rim. Keep
left on the Stout Canyon Road and travel approximately 6 miles.
Watch
for a sign on the right at a gate entrance which says Heaton Ranch. Turn right off
Stout Canyon road here and follow the road through the ranchyard and go up a
hill and through two gates. After the second gate you will encounter a fork,
either way will lead you to the Lodge, but there is a larger parking area found
by following the road to the right. Please leave gates as you find them (open
gates stay open, closed gates need to be closed after passing through.)
From
Cedar City:
Drive
east up Cedar Canyon on Hwy 14 about 37 miles. When you pass the 37 mile
marker, you will travel a short distance further before you come to a highway
sign which will say Stout canyon. Turn right onto a well-traveled dirt road
which will lead you up into the trees where the road forks at a sign. The sign indicates
Stout Canyon and Harris Rim. Keep left on the Stout Canyon Road and travel
approximately 6 miles.

From
Kanab:
Drive
north on Hwy 89 through Orderville and Glendale.
About
4 miles past Glendale there will be a Ranch turnoff to the left. It is
unmarked, but there is a sign across the highway to the right very close to the
turnoff indicating a rest stop ahead. There is also a dumpster and a cattle
guard where you turn left off the highway. (If you get to the actual rest stop
on the highway, you have just missed the turnoff.)
